The Highland Venison and Trout Cold Pressed Food by Wilsons is 100% grain free and hypoallergenic, great for dogs with allergies or intolerances. Developed with nutritionists and produced in Wilsons factories in Scotland, this is premium, healthy and nutritious food with a range of health benefits for your dog.
Wilsons gently press their ingredients at a lower temperature than traditional kibble food, meaning the pellets break down much easier inside your dog’s stomach, causing absolutely no bloating and really easy to digest. This is a complete meal which is made from a range of healthy ingredients, including sweet potato, seaweed and green lipped mussels.
Venison is high in vitamin B, zinc and iron, whilst trout is packed full of healthy proteins. Sweet potato is a great source of vitamin A which promotes good eye health, and seaweed has antioxidants which help maintain a healthy immune system and overall good health. There’s even essential amino acids and natural anti inflammatory inside thanks to the green lipped mussels, this is a great addition for dogs with arthritis and promotes overall joint care. All of the ingredients combined are 100% natural and healthy, creating delicious flavours whilst looking after your dog's immune system, coat and skin too!
If your dog enjoys more of a wet food consistency, you have the option to mix some lukewarm water with the pellets, let it sit for 5 minutes and then stir to create a delicious gravy-like paste. Remember to remove any uneaten food after 20 minutes.
Available in 2kg and 10kg in their brand new recyclable Eco Packaging, and when it comes to reordering, you can even choose to replace the inner with one of their refill paper bags!

Cold pressed food is nutritionally more dense, so Wilsons advise to feed around 30% less than traditional kibble, making sure not to over feed.
When introducing for the first time, make sure you switch over to this food gradually, pet nutritionists recommend feeding smaller amounts of Wilsons Cold Pressed in the first few days and mixed in with the previous food. Do this over the course of 10 days and then gradually increase the amount of Wilsons whilst serving less of the old food.
