This waterproof dog coat is made from a nylon shell fabric which is also windproof and breathable, perfect for use during work and play. The new polyester lining provides more insulation and warmth combined with the thick padding to create a great winter dog coat for those cold, wet walks. This dog jacket is perfect for use in the Autumn and Winter months when the weather starts to become unpredictable, more rainy or even snowy.
Your dog can easily wear their harness underneath thanks to the added harness hole or Leash Portal as Ruffwear calls it. This is compatible with most harnesses and will give you easy access to the attachment point of your dog's harness when you’re out and about or getting ready to leave. Additional to this, the jacket is compatible with the Ruffwear Fernie Jacket and Ruffwear Climate Changer Dog Fleece to provide layers for extra warmth in extreme conditions. The side release buckles not only finish the clean look of this coat on your dog but make it nice and easy to take on and off. The buckles are unclipped before the jacket is placed over your dog’s head and are attached to the belly panel. They are then fastened securely at either side and can be adjusted for a comfortable and customised fit. There are two new colour designs for this jacket, Aurora Teal and Canyonlands Orange, which are presented in bold two tone colour block designs that match well with the rest of the new Ruffwear range.
The rear leg straps are a recent addition to Ruffwear’s designs, perfect for keeping the coat in place on windy days up the hills or for highly active dogs. The newly designed thicker storm collar allows extra protection against harsh weather conditions and can be folded down when it isn’t needed. Reflective accents and Ruffwear’s unique Light Loop for attaching the Beacon Light nicely finish the design and make this coat great for walks in low-light conditions. Even with the new added padding, this jacket is still light enough to pack away into a bag or rucksack to take with you on hikes up hills and mountains or for those casual woodland walks.
